Los ataques ya no son solo dirigidos a grandes empresas, ahora se producen de forma
masiva en la pequeña y mediana empresa, las cuales, son las más vulnerables.
Las Empresas deben de entender, que en todo momento son garantes de la información y
datos que tienen de sus clientes (de nivel básico, medio y alto) y que deben de responder
de ellos ante sus propios clientes y ante la Agencia Española de Protección de Datos. (RGPD)
Las Empresas siempre tienen que cumplir la Ley orgánica de protección de Datos y tener
instalados los medios de seguridad de protección informática.
Disponer de todos los medios de protección informáticos no les garantiza no tener un
ataque informático.
Una Empresa que sea ciber atacada, en función de la gravedad del ataque, puede correr el
riego de no continuidad en el mercado por los costes económicos que deberá de asumir,
en algunos casos de gran calado
Porque cuando se produce el ciber ataque, el cliente va a necesitar de servicios
profesionales especializados, y en este caso:
La compañía Aseguradora aportará las medidas necesarias, técnicas, pecuniarias y Legales
que el cliente tendrá que hacer frente, así como sus consecuencias que pueden ser de
grave calado.
La Empresa debe de hacer frente a un coste en gastos y cumplimiento legal, que de no
tener una póliza que soporte los mismos le va a suponer un mayor problema al generado
por el ciber ataque, (la encriptación, secuestro de los datos, Paralización del negocio etc.)
Los pilares principales de las garantías y Servicios del seguro
– Asistencia técnica Informática en la recuperación de datos encriptados
– Defensa Jurídica, Indemnización pecuniaria que le pueden reclamar clientes,
proveedores, etc.
– Paralización posible de su actividad
– Cobertura Legal ante la Agencia española de Protección de datos (tiene 72 horas
para comunicar el ciber ataque), por Sanciones y comunicados obligados ante la
Agencia y afectados.
La contratación del Ciber seguro, en cuanto a su coste, será diferente, según la naturaleza
de la actividad, nivel de archivos, facturación, N.º de empleados, si tiene WEB, si hace venta
online.
